Thursday, March 27, 2008Comunidades Latinas Unidas En Servicio (CLUES), a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization headquartered in St. Paul, delivering behavioral health and human services across the Twin Cities, is pleased to announce the promotion of Ms. Kathleen A. Westerhaus to Vice President, Resource Development. Ms. Westerhaus has worked for CLUES since September 2005 in the areas of Development and Marketing, and has contributed to the organizational growth of CLUES. Jesse Bethke Gomez, President of CLUES, says, “We are pleased to announce Kathleen’s promotion and her growing leadership role within CLUES and in the community. Kathleen’s leadership will help the agency advance its financial prosperity and ability to serve the community.”

Ms. Westerhaus holds a Master’s of International Management degree in business administration with an emphasis in international marketing from The University of St. Thomas. Ms. Westerhaus earned a Master of Arts degree in Spanish Literature & Linguistics from Middlebury College in Vermont. She was also awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of St. Benedict.

CLUES is in its 27th year of service to the community. The agency was recently ranked among the top 25 Hispanic Nonprofits in the United States in 2007 by Hispanic Business Magazine. CLUES provides a continuum of linguistically appropriate and culturally competent services including: Mental Health Services, Chemical Health Services, Family Services, Aging Well Services, Employment Services and Latino Learning Institute Educational Services.
