Comunidades Latinas Unidas En Servicio (CLUES) elected Dr. Carmen Coballes-Vega, Dean of College of Professional Studies and Professor of Education at Metropolitan State University, to its Board of Directors. Carmen’s expertise will serve in several key areas of support to the organization such as educational programming, human resource management, and resource management. Her knowledge and experience will support the continual refinement of policies and practices to assist CLUES in its long-range development to serve Latino communities.

Comunidades Latinas Unidas En Servicio (CLUES), a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization headquartered in St. Paul, delivering behavioral health and human services across the Twin Cities, is pleased to announce the promotion of Ms. Kathleen A. Westerhaus to Vice President, Resource Development. Ms. Westerhaus has worked for CLUES since September 2005 in the areas of Development and Marketing, and has contributed to the organizational growth of CLUES. The Consulate of Mexico in Saint Paul named Jesse Bethke Gomez, president of Comunidades Latinas Unidas En Servicio (CLUES), as the distinguished recipient of the Ohtli Recognition. The Ohtli Recognition is given to people who have dedicated the majority of their personal and professional lives to bridging the gap for Mexicans living outside their country of origin. “Ohlti” is the Nahuatl word for “pathway.”
